June 21st 2005: Something huge has emerged from the ground near the city of Osaka and has begun to approach a residential area. As the world watches the devastation taking place in Japan, what people are calling “giant tripods” have begun appearing all around the globe. Every major city on the planet is under attack, and the population is fleeing in what can only be called the biggest human migration in history! Could this be the end? War of the Worlds is the upcoming Steven Spielberg film starring Tom Cruise, based on the novel War of the Worlds, written in 1898 by H.G. Wells. In Gameloft’s version for mobile, you control a tripod and wreak havoc on the earth in a story closely based on the movie and its universe.
